Electromagnetic Compatibility Analysis of Quadcopter UAVs Using the Equivalent Circuit Approach

Studying the electromagnetic compatibility of an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) using full-wave simulations is computationally challenging. A UAV can exhibit unintentional coupling from far-field sources as well in its close vicinity. For example, many applications, carries a payload that consists transmitting antenna to communicate/characterize receivers on ground. Therefore, there strong need for accurate and rapid technique quantify RF subcomponents due wide range incident radiation. In this work, we study quadcopter efficient manner Equivalent Circuit Approach (ECA). The ECA based modeling direct wiring system with Thevenin equivalent circuit terminated load under test. We different representations show advantages each representation. Moreover, wires used linear/nonlinear loads fraction time required by simulations. addition, how provides physical insight facilitate prediction other complex systems.
